tattoos: have taken over my life

Here are some tattoos from the London tattoo convention. which i didn't attend, but i did a 9 months straight in London so i have a pretty deep hearted love for it.especially Camden town, that was my hood. And despite popular belief, I 2 subways, and two commuter trains, one a top to bottom. this was in 05 so fuck the dummies....This reads top to bottom so the comments above each picture applies to the photo directly under it. (which I'm sure you all knew)

London convention artist (unknown)
look how tiny this is.
...Convention action(artist unknown)
Here is one by my friend Norm (Skull And Sword) who
was also present at the London Con. Look him up when in
San Francisco it is really executed with such finesse, a word I
never thought I would aspire to create in my own art. But the
ruggedness in that finds itself a great home in my graffiti. I year
for the opposite in graffiiti.

Here is a lot gem I'm not sure where i got it. but it is sick as fuck!!!!!!
I want to show some more of my favorite tattoos:

Norm, i would like to my style to reflect mixtures such as this piece here. like how grouping different objects in a certain way make a tangible image. like using classic tattoo imagery like L Legos, ending up the pattern with as a cool as fuck semi abstract final. but each element very obvious and visible. I you understand that, kudos to you

Thats all for now. still got my nose to the grindstone tattooing.
I'll start showing mine when I start to do the patterns that I have drawn myself.
I dont wan't to post kanji and apprentice work......

thanks!!!!!!

Sorry, I am gettin the hang of this blogging i think.

Work is going good. I also got paid for the first time for tattooing, and got my full fledged tattoo licensure!! I'm still apprenticing because I don't feel like if I was alone in the shop and a client came in, i might not be able to take on any tattoo they want without the help of  a mentor. I estimating it 6  months till I take full-on clients at shop/client price. Also ill be taking walk in clients just like the other artists. so here is the latest tattoo I have completed. that arrow on the second black bar is a mysterious arrow. It isn't
a bald spot in my tattoo..

below  is the last tattoo I have (healed photo) thats the same one
below but that was and unhealed. It was done by the guy who I apprentice under. Micheal Gutierrez/"Nore"So basically the purpose of studying under Nore is to try
to get as much of his techique as possible. I know my own
art will shine. It's more about the application of the tattoo
that im stuying, i.e. putting in the pigments, the best setting
for my machine, and basic things about the skin and which colors
hold. and of course....HOW TO CLEAN THE SHOP!!!
but below is ONE of the perks of the jobs aside from education....
Look how dope!

Also the album cover i did for Omar from The Mars Volta came out in Japan, and now it should be available on vinyl and on CD domestically. I still havent gotten my copy Omar!! here is the cover. it put it up before but here it is:     Add Image                                                                            Add VideoAdd Video

news

thats an album cover i did for omar rodriguez lopez he not only allowed me free range, but wanted this to be an equal effort artistically by me and musically by him and his collaborators, pardon me for not being able to list them as i am not certain, and if you know who they are then dont be pompous and try to make feel bad........grey

random stuff from online that makes me think.
